Former Sex and the City star Candace Bushnell dishes the dirt on the new drama “The Good Place,” her “fantastic” experience with Seinfeld, and whether the show is still good 16 years later.
FOX’s Julianne Hing has the sneak peek in “FOX on Book”:
The good place is better now than ever.
Dana Wingfield (Adrienne Palicki), played by Lisa Kudrow, joins Mike Schur’s new NBC comedy because she wants to “have a group of people who look just like me.” But life with four others, played by Kristen Bell, Ted Danson, D’Arcy Carden and William Jackson Harper, is as complicated as one of those “Tonight Show” shows they parody.
Bushnell’s not surprised things get complicated.
(Bushnell) I’m used to it because I do that show too.
Season one guest stars include Sarah Jessica Parker, Kyle MacLachlan, Angela Bassett, Sarah Paulson, Diane Keaton, Jeff Goldblum, Eddie Izzard, Jane Krakowski, Malin Akerman, Christine Baranski, Michael Kenneth Williams, Jeffrey Tambor, and Cindy Crawford.
Written and produced by Mike Schur, “The Good Place” was a hit for NBC, with a second season set to air next year.
“FOX on Book” is produced by HarperCollins Audio. “The Good Place” is available now through all digital outlets and is available in standard and high-quality digital formats at www.HarperAudio.com.
